Why is that? / myLot

My boyfriend and I just had a fight. I wanted him to discuss things with me in detail but he felt that our fight wasn't such a big deal and that there was really no need to go into details about every thing we disagreed on. Why are guys like that? They just don't get the fact that we want to settle things so that the argument wouldn't have to happen again. Am I just being unreasonable? My boyfriend said that what really matters is that we are fine and that we really don't have to discuss the details. Am I really crazy to even make the suggestion that we talk about everything?

It must be the male ego A relationship needs a lot of patience. There is nothing to worry. He might change his mind and begin a good discussion about it.

No your not crazy because my boyfriend is like that too. Like when we have an argument and i want to discuss things, he doesn't want to talk about it too much. I don't know why guys are like that. No your not being unreasonable...don't put the blame on yourself. Now I do believe that somethings you just have to let go of, and let it slide by but i all depends on what it is. Like something little.

I'm so glad someone understands! I just can't get him to talk about what he feels! All that matters to him is that we don't talk about it because he feels we could always work through it without saying how we feel. He is a sweetheart but not much of a communicator. Thanks a lot!
