I heard it from a lot of buddies but am not sure as i dont know about it much.

It isn't true. Indeed, it's nonsense. Israel and the United State are allies. Like all allies, the have large areas of agreement and mutual interest. Like all allies, they also have areas where their interests are at odds. Those who make such generalizations as those uttered by your buddies simply aren't paying attention.
