Pacquiao destroys De La Hoya

After this fight, Oscar is quoted to be considering retirement since he feels that he doesn't have it anymore. To think that De La Hoya was the 2:1 favorite coming in to this fight mainly because Manny had to come up two weight classes to meet him at 147 pounds, makes it even more of a surprise to everyone. Manny Pacquiao truly showed that he's worth the adulation and the attention being showered upon him. He's shown that he's a great fighter and someone who comes up big when the situations call for it. Pound for pound king? Indeed!

pacman is a good fighter and i'm not taking anything away from him. he trained hard for the fight but oscar dela hoya is way beyond his prime. clearly, pacman was in the fight for the glory while dela hoya was in it for the money. can't wait to see pacman go up against hatton. that fight will prove if pacman is indeed the best fighter pound for pound.
