He's depressed and It's making me sad I can't help him

Some of you may know that I am in a long distance relationship with my boyfriend. Last night we talked through the phone and I kinda asked him why he's acting so weird lately. He said that he's unhappy. At first I thought he means he's unhappy with our relationship so I cried because maybe he's gonna break up with me but he said it's not about us. He's just unhappy with himself right now but he doesn't understand why he's so sad. Because of our conversation, I felt that he's depressed. I told him to unburden his feelings to me so that he'll feel a little better but he won't because he said nobody will be able to understand what he's feeling. That's making me sad because I feel like he doesn't trust me to understand him.

Hi, Kaliyha,
I think your boyfriend trusts you - he did admit to feeling unhappy. Deep feelings of unhappiness are really hard to fully explain and talk out, even or especially with a loved one.

Sorry to hear that you are sad right now. Maybe this problem that your BF experiencing right now can only be solve by him or his not ready to tell you what's troubling him i know it's tough for you as his GF to unable to help him out but for the time being just support him I know he really appreciate what you are doing.

i was in the long distance relationshp before, 4 yrs long and now we are together, THANK GOD. sister dont feel that much bad, sometimes men are really not that open as what we wanted them to be, sometimes it is better for them to kept to there self, maybe bcuz they thought that if they will shared it they it will be a minus for them, but for me teh best thing u need to do right now, is stay beside him, always tell him and remind him that no matter what u are just there at his side and that u love him so much.
