Is you fear of failure getting in the way?

I always wanted to be an entrepreneur but I'm afraid of failing and worst, losing money because of that. I'm still saving up for the money to use in my business. I'm afraid of if I fail, it will just go down the drain. It doesn't help that my parents aren't supportive. They don't want me to do anything risky. How about you? Have you been in a situation where your fear of failing deters you from chasing your dreams?
