Do you get disappointed when your friends don't have time and you do?

For example, you've been having free time every weekends so you decide to ask your friends out. Everytime you do, only a few would go and the others are always busy. Do you get disappointed? I do. I guess I'm too sensitive. "Matampuhin" - Filipino term.

I do get disappointed but I do understand them. I know that they are busy in work and in school as some of my friends are still in Universities. It's okay for me because we find time to see other and weekends is normally spend in family so I fully understand them. We normally go out during weekdays.

I try to understand them.. But then it's been a long time. I don't complain when they don't have time, I just take it quietly. But then they would suddenly complain and say that no one has time when they're the ones who're really busy.

hi phyrethyme ! well, i am not really disappointed. actually, i have not really thought about this before. because almost always, i am alone at home. not talking to anyone. it is very seldom that i go out with friends. when i go out, it is with my husband. i am a pretty independent person. so i can do things with or without people with me. sometimes i find it irritating when people go with me because most of the time, they are late and i can't stand that. and i have things that i need to accomplish and i would have to consider what they want. maybe ti is because i am a very busy person. i don't have a lot of time to just hang out or just call friends up on the phone. when i am free, i do post in forums online in order to earn some extra money. so that is it, take care and God bless you phyrethyme !

I understand. Yeah, it is pretty annoying when people go with you and instead of helping you, they end up slowing you down. Aw.
