It's final exam season again here in the west. When do you guys usually feel like studying? Do you feel studying in the morning when the sun is up? or at night? I usually prefer studying at night. Mostly because it's more quiet. No one at home will disturb me. I like it when it's dark and peaceful outside and I just feel more productive when I stay up very late and then wake up late. How about you guyz?

I have left my student life quite a few years back. My favourite time was afternoon. As from childhood i was not allowed to stay up in night, I could not study at night upto late hours even I was in a hostel. But to prevent my attention from going outside I preferred to play some music at a low sound.

I'm having some exams coming up as well! I'm most concentrated and productive in the morning and at night (great combination lol). So my rythm when studying: getting up at say 8am, so I'm at my desk at half past 8/9 o' clock, work untill noon, eat lunch (1pm), do a nap or some easy things (2pm - 4 pm, most unproductive period), work again till dinner (7pm)and at night work as long as I need to to gt things done, but I try to get at least 6 hours of sleep. 6 hours of sleep might seem not enough, but as I'm sleeping in the afternoon, I get a reasonable sleeping time all together. The night before an exam, it can become very late though. I never go to an exam without at least 3 hours of sleep, then I can make the exam in a good state of concentration and stuff, and crash afterwards. My discipline is the problem, I really need some stress, the exam coming near to get going, so that often results in long days and even longer nights of study! As you say, at night there's less disturbance from 'outside', but it's mainly the pressure of the upcoming exam that's helping me then lol!
