So Florida is Number 1

So the polls have Florida as number one and Oklahoma at number two. So they will be playing for the national championship. It is another year of one loss teams going to the big game but what about all the other one loss teams that proved they were just as good. Another year for everyone to discuss how many changes are needed for the BCS ranking system and how something has to be done to keep it fair. What about those other one loss teams? What do we tell them? What do you tell one loss Texas that beat Oklahoma head to head? I will tell you that I am not big fan of Texas but they deserve something more than they got even though I am a very big fan of the SEC and we don't like them to much!!!

I think, as do many other people, that there should be either a 8 team playoff system or even a 16 team playoff system. I think Florida and Oklahoma are deserving of playing in the national championship. Florida beat the undisputed #1 team in the rankings and Oklahoma has scored 60+ in 5 straight games. 2 good teams in Texas and USC aren't going to make it, which is a shame. Playoff system is best, so there will be no contraversy.

I agree with them needing to have a playoff. It would make everything a little more fair and we would find out for sure who the best team in the nation really was. I think that both Florida and Oklahoma are good teams but I am not convinced that they should be the only teams with a shot at the title game.
