Vegetables in most of the places in India are sold in the footpath in an open market, as vegetables respire they absorb the carbon-monoxide release by vehicles and most of the dust go into it,which is harmful to our body whereas this shoes and sandles are meant to wear outside to go over the dirt and dusty road and it won't give no harm to ask.

Oh!Haven't you seen it in the reverse happening? Now a days there are Vegetable markets in city sides, existing in A/C rooms.Only thing is,there it is more costly and there is a promise of getting only high quality vegetables and fruits. You need not pick the vegetables from a heap as in road side markets. And for the shoes and chappals,You can come across many traders to have it exhibited in streets and selling the same. But they are of cheap quality and will not last long.It all depends!Cheer up!
