I've been getting myself updated on the happenings in the Spanish La Liga. Read Madrid is not doing well at all. They are trailing Barcelona by many points. I think they're currently in 6th place, behind Sevilla, if I'm not mistaken. They've had injuries to key players like Sneijder and Van Nistelrooy. This is good news for Man Utd because Real Madrid have been trying to lure Ronaldo away from Man Utd for the past two consecutive seasons now. They're likely to do it again next season. Pundits have predicted that Ronaldo will leave Man Utd next season because he clearly stated that it's his dream to play for Real Madrid and in Spain. If Real Madrid under-performs this season, then that would change Ronaldo's mind about leaving Man Utd, especially if Real Madrid fails to qualify for the Champions league next season. And that's very important. Barcelona, Villareal, Sevilla and Valencia are stronger this season and they are the ones who will determine Real Madrid's fate. This is good news for Man Utd fans.

Have you heard a rule that recent years, when RM win the league champion, MU will win too. Following data for information: 00-01 Man.Utd, Real Madrid 01-02 Arsenal, Valencia 02-03 Man.Utd, Real Madrid 03-04 Arsenal, Valencia 04-05 Chelsea, Barcelona 05-06 Chelsea, Barcelona 06-07 Man.Utd, Real Madrid 07-08 Man.Utd, Real Madrid And what about 08-09?

Haha.. I've heard of this before and somehow I believe in it. I don't mind Real Madrid doing well if that means Man Utd will be Champions again!!

Really? I didn't know that. Hehe. Well, it's interesting to know but that's a coincidence for sure. There's no explanation for it. But what will happen in 08-09 will be based on how Man Utd performs, and how Real Madrid performs, without any interdependence between both teams. But it's interesting to know though, hehe. Thanks for that info.
