Some say before you go to bed is the best time to study, others say you need to wake up early in the morning so that your mind is still fresh for you to easily absorb what you just studied. What is your stand on this?

First, it all comes down to your natural cycles. People perform better at different times. I personally have had much success in reading class material in the morning, when my focus was wake up and read, and I absorbed it well (the first stuff I was exposed to in my waking world, and it stuck). But I tend to work much better at night. When it comes to writing and creativity, my peak hours are later in the night... Reading can be both night or morning, but I realize when I read at night, I enjoy what I'm reading more than I thought I would.... For school, reading early always seems to work out better... Hope that helps.... It also works to test yourself out...use different techniques or recognize when you function best...

For me after everyone else goes to bed, that is the best time for me to get some studying done. Sometimes while in school, I would stay and study in the library just to keep my mind fresh and all. But I find that late night when not too much is going on, that is the best time for me.

I think the best time for people to study is different for everyone. I personaly like to study at night because my mind seems to be more relaxed and I have more focus. But a lot of people i know prefer to study during the day...

usually . it depends on our subject . if the subject need us to think more deeper & deeper . i prefer study in the virtuous situation thats more relax, comfortable, placid . like 12 or 1 o'clock in the morning . sometime when study during the day, we can rush become tired . but . what is the important point here is our mood . if we are in the virtuous mood , don't hang on to long to study . embark on ourself and gear up to study . purpose only in this upright mood ,we be able to feel the actual delight of study^^,)

Any time when there's free time of yours that no one can bothers you. And its better you have a really disciplined allocated time for study so your life will not always be in studying. And especially if you are a student. Always have your corner or place of studying where no one can disturb you or even somethings like TV, Radios or even Ipods. So you can have all your focus on your studies. The best way to study is focus. Practice the techniques of speed reading (there are a lot of infos about speed reading. It is very beneficial). And also techniques of mental computations and memorizations.

I actually study at varying times throughout the day. In the morning it usually takes me a little time to get myself motivated but after my daughter gets the kids off to school its just so peaceful here that I do can do my Bible reading and Bible study done while my mind is fresh. In the evening I usually get on the internet and answer emails and check on all my friends here on mylot. This is also the time that I do any research that I need to do. It really depends on your own natural cycle and also your environment. You must have quiet in order to study so you must take that into consideration, too.

When I was in law school, I preferred studying at night, though I studied the whole day. Studying at night makes me concentrate more since it's much quieter and most people are asleep,so there's less disturbance from anyone.
