The best yard sale, garage sale or thirft store items to resell on Ebay?

I used to be really into Ebay. I once shoped at a few thirft stores and yard sales to get cheap items to resell on Ebay. I often found cloths and other items new with tags at both thirft stores and yard sales and made money reselling them. One item I got was a pair of "distressed" ambercromie jeans with wholes in them. The cleark said "oh these have wholes in them and discounted them;0) so I paid $1.00 and sold them on Ebay for $42.00. needless to say I was thrilled. Anyone else have things like this that sold for a good price when you paid little or nothing for it at a yard sale or or thrift store?

I found a red corduroy Yves St Laurent Rive Gauche jacket. Looked like it probably dated back to somewhere in the 1980's; I paid $4 and I thought if I was lucky I might get $25 or $30 for it...and at the last minute there was a bidding war and it sold for $240! That was during my first year selling on eBay and after that I was hooked.
