Do you mark best response among the responses in the discussion you have started? If so how long do you wait for the best response? Do you mark a response as positive if you don't get satisfactory response? Also let me know how it feel when you give a quite satisfactory reponse but the user don't choose any response as " best response" ..

I try to remember to make a best response. I know I have forgotten on many occassions. I usually wait until I no longer am receiving any comments on the post. If I don't like any responses, I don't choose a best response. I have felt disappointed in the past when I knew I had given a great response and wasn't chosen as best response. I guess it is just a matter of personal opinion, though.

I do mark best response. I had started a discussion regarding how long until you mark best response. I have since decided to wait a few weeks since I find some more responses trickle in within that time span. I had not been rating until just recently. I rate other responses that I like in other peoples discussions. I do not mark a response as positive if I don't get a satisfactory response, no. When I give a decent response to a discussion and my response is not chosen as best, I do not fret too terribly. I like to go back and see what the response that was chosen best, says though.

Yes, I do. I mark best response for my discussion. I give the best mark if I think that respond is the best for me. I usually wait for the best mark for 2 hours. After 2 hours, I will find which one is the best. If there is no the best, I will not give the best. If there is the best, I will give the best.

I wait about a week to give a best response. If you give a best response too early then people will be put off your discussion.
