Chain or no chain?

Well first I will start with I have 3 dogs. The oldest is 6,2, and 4 months. My oldest dog hates being on a chain. She is a very good dog and I can trust her not to run away, or charge at people when I am out side with her. My youngest dog hates being outside for longer then 5 minutes which is fine with me she does her business then comes in the yard and doesn't bark at the passers by. My puppy loves it outside and has only been on a chain when we walk him. Other then that I am very blessed to have a fully fenced front and back yard. Right now all the dogs are able to run through-out the yard at their own will. But in previous places I've had to use a chain. When I walk the 2 older dogs I can walk them or run them with out a leash. Do you walk or run your dogs with out a leash? Is your yard fenced so the dogs don't have to go on a chain? Do you think dogs with a fenced yard should still be on a chain so they can't reach the fence?

if you can trust your dog not to harm people and not run away, i think there's no need for them to be chain. let them be free. i can relate to that as i have a dog that is chained and not chained

I prefer to chain dogs when I walk them. I find the dog would be excited to meet other dogs in the street and try to play with them. There are peoples who dislike dogs and I ever saw a woman kicked a dog then criticize the owner who ran dogs without chain.I dont wanna my dog kicked, thus I always chain it.Sometimes I take dogs to places of less people, then take off the chain on its neck.
