Don't you just hate it when someone is looking/peeking/staring at your monitor?

Hi there! Yes, I don’t like if someone is peeking on activities that I have been doing in the computer. I just find it not right since I am not the person who likes to peek as well. I don’t want anyone checking me out when doing something in the computers whether it is for work or personal use. Good luck! And Thanks for the discussion! Happy Mylotting and Happy Holidays! Cheers!

Yeah, i really don't know why some people are oblivious to what they are doing. It's really annoying.

Yeah, I just hate that especially when I'm chatting or reading emails. Those messages are for my eyes only, not for others. I would really appreciate privacy.

"ma'am you have to leave because we're closing" lol! Yeah, that's the usual scenario in internet cafes. People just try to take a peek hoping they could take a glimpse of usernames then add them up in their instant messengers. I know because my friend did that to me.

Arrggghh. Yeah that's my ultimate pet peeve! That's the very reason why I don't like using public PCs esp. in Net Cafes. There's always someone next to you, looking over your shoulders and checking out what your doing too.

As much as possible never use public computers because these computers are the culprits for identity theft. They install keyloggers and when it's time for you leave the computer you just used, all the thing you typed in including your username and passwords will most probably be stolen.

actually I do..it drives me just nuts..its as annoying and as rude IMO as reading over someones shoulder when they are trying to read a book or the paper etc or listening in on someones phone conversation....

Yes that really would annoy me. I didnt have much choice about it though because when my ex and I were living together this room was my computer room/his game room. We had to share the room so it was obvious we would see what was on each others screens. I didnt really worry about it. I would hate going to a public library and having to use the computers where everyone can see what I am viewing.

Yeah because like emails, they should be private so i guess people around us must have the courtesy to stay away when we're doing things using our computer. There are things not meant for them to read.

It's not so much that I hate anyone looking at my monitor but I hate having anyone look over my shoulder. If they are close enough to look at my monitor they are standing in my personal space and that makes me uncomfortable.
