All right you baby boomers, do you remember this game? I use to have a great time playing this game, you can play it by yourself or with 2 or more players,Me and my friends spent hours just having some good innocent fun. Everyone of my friends had a set of these. And they were sold just about everywhere. Back in those days of my childhood. Do know what this game is? Have you ever played this game?

I remember playing jacks when I was little and all us girls would get down on the floor and play for hours. The only bad thing about jacks was if one ever got lost, look out for the yelling when someone stepped on it. Do you think that kids now would even know what jacks are if you ask them?

i doubt if the kids of today would even consider playing Jacks. They can't get away from all the new electronic games and cellphones.

you're right, they won't even go outside and play and they act like they were born with a cell phone attached to their hip.

Ohhhh.... I sure remember that! Jackstones! And in my time (and yours too?), the stones came in metal and not plastic. Good innocent fun that helped our eye-hand coordination, improved our dexterity. In my day, over here, not everybody had a set, but everybody could join.

We played them all of the time and I bet the metal Jacks had a ton of lead in them, oh well, it didn't harm me, doesn't look like it harmed anyone else either..

I loved to play jacks. I got to be pretty good at it too. I could sit out on the front porch for the longest playing. There was so many ways to play jacks also. I found it much easier to play using a golf ball, it bounced better and higher so there was more time to pick up the jacks. hahaha I remember playing onsies, pigs in the pen, double bounce and eggs in the basket. I am sure there were more. I wonder if they still make the metal ones or if they are all plastic.

The first thing that came to my mind was Jack Rocks or Jax.. I am probably way off base but as soon as I submit this response, I will check everyone else's guess..

Chevee, I read the responses after I submitted my response and I was right.. This was honestly the first game that came to mind, I wonder why that was.. We also had jump ropes, tin cans, paper dolls and I can't remember what else, but Jacks came to mind automatically when reading the post.. Great memories, great fun..

Yes, I've played that game. It was fun to try to get all of the jacks. (Is that what they are called?- Having a senior moment and can't remember what they are called LOL) I like the old games. They have so many new ones now but the old classics are the best.
