i was wondering if you were in a restaurant and you found a cell phone lying around and there is no one in the restaurant other than you ...what would you do? would you give the cell to the manger of that restaurant telling him about how you found it? would you keep the cell to yourself and see if you can trace the owner yourself? would you keep the cell with yourself and not bother about the owner cos he should have been more careful....finders keepers loosers weepers? and also that the cell phone that you found is the one you were wanting to buy since a long time but havent been able to come up with that much money? what would you do and why ?

If I find a cell phone in a restaurant I would call the attention of the manager because surely the customer who lost it would try to retrieve it. It would be good for them to be reunited with their cell phones. Cheers!!

I have actually been on both sides of this situation, and I have to say that I would find a way to get the phone back to the owner. The first time, I found a phone going into the restroom of a gas station. Since for so many people, their cell phone is their life, my first thought was to get it back to the owner. I looked through the phone, looking for a number marked "home", "mom", or "dad". I found one marked home, and called it from that phone. My intentions were to let someone know that I had found the phone, and I was going to leave it with the management at the store so they could retrieve it (I was way out of my usual beaten path, so I knew I didn't want to come back to that side of town with the phone) I let the woman on the other end know what happened and where I had found it. It was funny, the person who left the phone in the bathroom turned out to be the clerk at the store. She was waiting on me to come out to look for her phone. Luckily I did the right thing, and I could hand it to her on the way out. The next time, I was at the library using their computers to kill time before an interview. I had to go to the printer, and stupid me, left my cell phone next to it. I didn't even realize I had left it until I had sat down, some time had passed, and I went to check the time. I went back to the printer, it was gone. I went to the desk, no one had turned it in. I was about to panic when someone, obviously saw me looking around, and walked up to me asking if I had lost a phone. Thank God for him it was mine.

I'd give it to the restaurant manager... It's not mine & I have one of my own, I don't need to keep someone else's...
