Well this is from my experience so far or from my own perception & outlook i should say that women are more conscious about their looks or their body gestures of what others might have thought about them while men are more concern about their manliness .What do you say or what are your experiences ?

I would have to say yes that they are more conscious about their looks but I don't really know why. Women are naturally much more beautiful then men and shouldn't worry about what they look like because they are always beautiful to men.

Well I will tell you why....See we always think that we look fat, or feel fat. We always are worried that people are going to think that "wow shes a fatty" even though we know that we aren't. We are all alike though. Myself and my 2 sisters and tons of our girlfriends we always are worried about our looks. We all ask our husband "do I look fat in this"... LOL...We are always asking does this look ok??? Does my hair look alright. I think that god put those conscious worries in ALL girls, but we have to look cute for all you guys!!!!

I fully agree, a man and a woman both have a persona they believe they have to uphold at any costs. With a female, they believe beauty is what they have to be, they believe that they have to be the flower that stands out and that blooms every day, This is true in more than one sense also, because the Greeks believed that a female was the definition of beauty. With a male, they believe in power is what shows beauty or in this handsomeness. those that work out and are muscle bound of course get the more attractive women, why? Because, that is just the way it goes, if two beauties are nearby then they correlate with each other, while it is near impossible for two opposites of beauties to correlate. Now, with a man also they believe in "being the man" believing that there is only one set kind of man. That they have to all be bulked, and they have to all like a certain thing, act a certain way, and only perceive items in a certain way. This is from the various traditions brought up in a male's society. In conclusion, there are so many various aspects that make up a guy and a girl, that is near impossible to explain them all, but each one of them has their own aspects that make them who they are, what most people don't consider though is that everyone is unique in their own special way. There are those who may want to dress differently, and those who want to act differently, and those who just want to make their persona; instead of the same old persona. This is also fine in a society, but then they are an outcast, with no friends, why? Because they are looked down upon as not being in the "in" group. Have a Merry Christmas, Luvandpower Life is short, live it to the fullest.

I think most of the time it is women who are more selfconscious. However there are homosexual men etc. some of who are much more self conscious (I'm not using stereotypes and saying every homosexual man is as self conscious as women, but yeah)

hello zatak! I do agree with you. I am a woman and I am really conscious on what I look like especially when going out. My husband and I are travelling together and I can say that I spent more time in fixing myself and my husband just only took a bath, put his dress, comb a little and that's it! He's done.
