Obama's Health Plan - Your Hope or Worries

How does the general population feel about Obama's Health Plan? I for one have even started a website (http://www.obamahealthplan.net) regarding this, as I feel upset about many aspects and still left out in the cold regarding unanswered questions. Seemingly I am upset, once you see my website, about his "plan" and the "promise" he gives us to have a health care plan in place by THE END OF HIS FIRST TERM. That's a long time to wait! I was under the impression that something would be implemented sooner. It seems that nothing is set yet, as to which direction he wants to go. What do you think about it? Are you supportive of what you do know in regards to the proposed health plan or do you feel in the dark, as I do, in regards to it? I would love to take my responses here and convey them on my website, without names of course, or you can even comment there on my website. www.obamahealthplan.net

I have not followed Obama's health policy closely to be able to judge whether it makes sens or not. If my perceptions are right you have to be insured in ordered to received medical attention in most hospital in USA. This leaves me perplexed as USA is one of the most rich country. WE have free medical services in my island. Perhaps it is possible due to our "smallness". I do believe that it is obscene to refuse medical attention to those who are in need even if they are poor.

Anyone can be seen here in the U.S. regardless if they have health insurance. HOWEVER, they will receive bills soon thereafter. I had a grandmal seizure in August, without insurance. As if I had any control over that! I now owe over $20,000 US to the hospital and doctors. I'm not an Obama supporter. Though he will be our President, I will do my best to support him, because of his position. Health care is very important to me and my family. I do not agree with his stance and how he proposes to come about it. I have a website that addresses his health care plan, though it is more questionable as to what he is doing. It offers facts and questions them. I do not understand how so many countries are able to offer their citizens health care, yet the U.S. and our citizens always find a way to criticize those plans. Nothing is perfect. Obama's plan will not be perfect. What we have is not perfect. Give us something. And do it now!

Yet I am puzzled how a rich country cannot afford to provide health service free to the needy at least. Thanks for the best response award.

I suppose the richest countries are always trying to find ways to get even richer, that is my only excuse. It's quite embarrassing...
