I am sure that everybody knows the awesome trilogy, starring Mel Gibson, Mad Max. The first part came out in 1979 almost 30 years ago, and the third one in 1985. I did not like the first part, but the second and the third were excellent. I am a huge fan of movies/games which have the main theme the post apocalyptic word after a nuclear war that almost wipes out the human kind. I recently say Mad Max Beyond Thunderdome (for the 10th time, I guess) and the movie gave me that special feeling of wanting more to see more. Unfortunately nowadays there are very few movies that you remember after watching them. I really wished that a fourth part of Mad Max would come out. (but without being a total failure, obviously)

I too am a big fan of the Mad Max trilogy and post apocolyptic stories(Fallout any one?). However I'd have to say that my gut responce to a new Mad Max movie would be no. I would like to see a continuation of that universe, but I think another form of media, like video games, would be a much better platform to attempt it on. It just seems that whenever Hollywood trys to bring back a popular I.P. they epic fail. Look at India Jones and The Kingdom of the Crystal Skull. So no, as much as I enjoy Mad Max, I really don't want to see another sequel.

He he you got me on that one. I've played Fallout 2 twice and Fallout Tactics once. Soon I will play (or at least I hope) Fallout 3. You simply got to love it. Unfortunately you are right about Indiana Jones, it was very rich in special effects but that special feeling that the other parts gave you was missing. In my opinion the same thing happened with Terminator 3. I am now curious about the forth 4th part. But I really wish that a forth part of Mad Max would come. Don't say you would not watch it, even if that would spoil the beauty of the first ones?
