WORST gift?!!!

I am not one to say that any gift is the worst I have received. However, there is one gift that I have received that I felt was not a very good gift at all. I asked my grandmother on my dad's side for a camera, and I received a dollar store camera. It wouldn't be so bad, except that my cousin received a camera as well, and hers was a lot better. I don't think my grandmother gave my cousin the camera she received, but I believe it was our aunt, my dad's sister. I felt like I was not loved as much because at the time I did not understand the value of money correctly. Even so, I still feel that it would have been better to just get me something else, instead of a camera that I later broke into pieces. I am not sure who's fault it was for giving me a cheap camera, but I do believe it was a misunderstanding. I told my father, to whom told my grandmother, atleast I believe that's what happened. I may have very well told my grandmother myself, but I believe that either my father misunderstood ( I didn't make myself clear) or my grandmother misunderstood my father. I still think that another gift would have been better if my grandmother could not afford a nice camera.

I dont think theres any good or bad gifts one can recieve. A gift means someone has thought of you - even if its for a few seconds.
