2001 Monte Carlo

The security light came on while driving weeks ago and has not gone off. Now I cannot start the car. The power windows and accessory lights still work when the ignition is on but the engine doesn't turn over at all.

you can go to autozone, kragen, checkers, you know a local parts store and rent the on borad diagnostics tool (OBDII) plug it in, follow the intsructions and it will help diagnose your problem, plus a lot of the time it is free with a deposit
