Oh boy! Here comes winter, wind, cold, and snow. It's about time but all these jobs we put off now have to be done today, Clean gutters, set up animals hot water tanks, two things we've just put off. Burr. Does life catch you like this?

I find this happens all the time! In fact this year it didnt get all done so we will have clean-up from doing wood this spring before we can start again. I was outside and found my son didnt put the bikes away as told. There is more but to much to even think about! We have had snow for too long now already and I hate winter, go figure that we live in the snow belt of PA. LOL!

Luckily my husband cleaned our gutters already. However, I do need to get outside and trim a couple of my perennials back for next Spring. I'm a little late doing that this year.

Hey friend...are you excited about the upcoming snow this weekend. I can't wait. I'm not ready for the cold temperatures though. Yes, we are playing catch up with the leaves and a few other minor details that have to get done today, before winter really rears it's head. We do have the pipes wrapped at least. Hope you get everything done.

I think that with the changing of the season and the beginning of shopping it can be difficult to find time to do things at home to prepare for the holidays. Sure putting up any decorations you do will be at the top of the list, but other things like you've mentioned, cleaning gutters and setting up hot water tanks for your animals... The gutters can wait, and the hot water tanks can as well..
