who according to you should be in the playing XI for indian test team

Current form should be the criteria for selection of Team India. Based on the form displayed in Domestic matches a few changes can be suggested. Cheteshear Pujara with tons & tons of runs should be in the team. Irfan phatan with Three 5 wicket hauls deservers a break back. A spinner who flights the ball like romesh Powar is the need of the hour. so my Team India for test match would be: Shewag Gambir VVS lakshman Sachin Tendulkar Cheteshwar Pujara M.S.Dhomi Irfan Phatan Zaheer khan Ramesh Powar Ishanth Sharma Amit mishra

I think the current one day team as been filled with full of youngsters and test match has gotten a lot of senior players right now. But, I will prefer those senior players as long as they are playing good cricket. I think the current seniors have been doing well in the test match. Don't forget even Ganguly has been playing well in test matches before he got retired. And if you ask me, I will pick the test match team for India as follows. 1. G. Gambhir 2. V. Sehwag 3. V. Laxman 4. S. Tendulkar 5. Y. Singh 6. R. Dravid 7. M. Dhoni 8. H. Singh 9. Z. Khan 10.A. Mishra 11.I. Sharma In that line up, I have dropped Dravid down the order as he is not in best of the form and I think even he will be forced himself to stay on the grease for a long time, since he comes to bat after 4 wickets have fallen, as per my line up.

to me the current team is fine but need 2 changes to be made with change of Dravid and Laxman with Vijay and one more new youngester so that the team as little balance and good young legs in the field which helps india to move further
