The last two days i have seen this baby alligator laying out on the tunnel on the canal bank. I haven't seen any others nor have i seen the mama gator but i'm sure she is around somewhere.. right? I don't know but i'm not really trying to find out either. but thats a little freaky no? do you think maybe i should call someone and report it? i mean... it's not going to stay a baby forever.. and this canal bank is by A LOT of homes. i live in a townhouse and its a big community and then there is single home houses going all the way down the canal and on other side there is some other community houses. i swear theres nothing like living in south florida lol I see these big freaking iguanas now ALL the time.. i see probably 15 a day easily and now i am seeing alligators... what will it be next?! Have you ever had any wild animals living right by your house?

Florida is like that. I once worked in a grocery store that had a gator take up residence in its retaining pond. The bag boys would go out and feed it bakery products that had to be thrown out. Personally I think they should have called animal control.

yes i thing you better try to call someone about it. yes, thats one reason i wanted out of florida so bad. i had snakes nearly every day in my yard or right up on my carport/porch, etc.

Call if it makes you feel better, they may say forget it, babies don't have much chance of living to adulthood. As for the iguanas thank god for them they eat insects of which you have an abundance right? We live in country , bears, foxes, cougars, coyotes, skunk, possum, raccoons. yes you could say we have a lot of wildlife around. We enjoy most of it as long as our animals are safe. Enjoy where you live.
