I've Never wrote a blog.

I have never tried to write a blog and I am now interested in doing so. I have a website and online store that I am trying to get up and running. Do you think writing a blog would help me with this?
Where do you write you blogs from? I am not sure if my host site has a blog option or not but I am going to look into it. Do any of you have any hints and tips on writing blogs? I am not sure what they are. Are they more like a daily journal, weekly, monthly? What do people write in their blogs? How do others come across your blog? Do you have to advertise it? Or is there a site where it is just all blogs and everyone reads everything?
I am interested in starting a business blog if that makes any sense.

Yes writing a blog is certainly a good idea because it gives you good knowldge on HTML and other languages keep writing blogs it is really good

Many businesses now use blogs to promote their goods and services, because blogs are interactive, so customers can add their questions and comments. You can authorize or reject comments before they published on your blog.
A blog needs regular posts, and these can be added daily, weekly or a often as you want.
You can add your blog to free blog directories and sign up at some blog networks and communities to gain readers. Many bloggers use SEO techniques to obtain a good page rank.
I suggest you read a few blogs first to get an idea of how they look and what you can do with them.

I don't know much about blogging myself ( considering I don't have one of my own either) , but as much as I gathered all it is you have your own site, and people will go to it and comment, and mylot informs you of it.
I believe there is already a business blog opened, but you put your site with all other's of that category.
