How do you create a subsidiary of an existing business?

I've just begun what looks to be a very lucrative business, working with clay. My husband and I already have an existing corporation called D&A Solutions, Inc. This business involves PCB (printed circuit board) design and has nothing to do with my new business, Snow Mountain Clayworks. Does anyone here have any experience or knowledge about this type of thing? I would like to simplify the legal paperwork and feel that a subsidiary would be easier than a completely new business. What do you think?

it always depends upon the country where you live, on mylot people are from all over the world, and things don't always apply, ask your accountant or person who does your tax returns they should be able to help you.

I would love to, winterose, but I am our accountant and tax person. LOL I just haven't looked into subsidiaries much as yet. I have been investigating, though, so I can come up with the best solution.
