Is it me or is Squidoo really stupid for doing this...?

Ok, I set up one lens on Squidoo about a month ago that is a XXX Adult content thread thats about quality Adult DVD reviews. I took all the proper precautions, including being sure to select XXX Content when creating the lens so the proper audience views it. I kept wondering why i'm not getting any views or anything then it dawned on me to actually go visit the lens myself, as a visitor not as a logged in squidoo member, mind you...
And what do you know? The damn thing is blocked from visitors with some stupid sign saying something to the effect of "This lens contains XXX Adult Content, please log in to view this lens"... what kinda nonsense is this? If I create a XXX blog on wordpress or whatever, visitors WILL be able to see it. No wonder my lens isn't getting any hits. Don't they realize that telling most visitors they need to create a squidoo account before they read my lens is a huge turn off for them and will drive them away? What kind of a dummy thought up this brilliant and retarded idea?

I use Squidoo. 55 or so lenses & some are ok, some are bad, and some are great. I haven't got a penny from them yet but as i've heard it take's a while. I'm waiting it out and maybe i'll get a better turn out.
I just make g-rated lenses as I know that way I hit just about every audience & nothing silly like you've had to deal with will come up.
Any tip's to bring traffic to a given lens would be great to hear as i'm sure you have a lense other then the XXX one, 
I imagine traffic for a lens like that would come naturally, hahah!
