Do You Have A Family Tree?

Does anyone else here have a family tree that you have started? I started one of my own about two years ago on a website called Tribal Pages that lets you create family trees for free. Since then, I've been able to put hundreds of names on it with my earliest ancestor on there who died in the late 1600s or early 1700s (I can't remember and I don't have time to go look right now). I found out that my family, on my paternal side, first moved to the United States (although it wasn't called US at the time of course) in 1700 from France due to not being Catholic and escaping being persecuted. What about you all? Anyone else have a family tree they're working on? How far back have you gotten?

yes my family has jointly done this for several years now and we have traced it back to two brothers that immigrated to the U.S. from Germany in 1700s but once we got to that point it has stopped. from those two brothers came a family that is so large that we actually have a national family reunion at the Bob Evans farm here in Ohio.

Well, Its really great to have traced/remembered the names for past generations of so long duration. Great Work. I suggest you to make/host your own family tree. If you have a website, you can have your own free family tree on your own website. Please search for Freeware Family Tree Script in some search engine. You also program your own family tree in FLASH if you know to do it or even design it using Photoshop or some other graphical editor. The best would be to write it neatly on a paper and to scan/photograph it and upload it to your own site. I am working on to put PHP MY FAMILY (a free fmaily tree script) onto my site. I am testing it on my system now and will upload it later to the web.
