If I don't have to work that night, I'm going to be doing New Years Eve with my husband at a friend's house. We'll see if my parents can watch our youngest son, and take our daughter with us. Even though she's only four, she'll get along better with us than out 16 month old. It's not going to be one of the loud noise, high drinking party. We'll probably play games, watch tv, and just have fun.

Sounds good. Thats what my parents usually did with us when we were kids. When we got older we were allowed to bang pots and pans. This year I'm not sure what I'll be doing. I've been invited to a house party. I haven't asked my close friends what they are doing right now. Everyone seems to be worried about Christmas.. No ones really gotten to New Years Eve yet. I'd like to get really drunk with good friends. Have a lot of fun. I probably work until 5pm at the latest. Im working the next day because I get time and a half and I really really need the money. My boss is awesome though. He's not going to start me until the latest possible. He's opening the store on that day.

my husband, our son, and i always spend a relaxing night at home. during the day, i always make a treat called "olie bollen". they are kind of like miniature apple fritters with raisins in them. then all evening we snack on them. we dip them in icing sugar before eating them. in the evening we will watch movies. our son is 7 years old. he usually goes to bed at 8:00 pm. on New Year's Eve he will get to stay up until 9 pm. at midnight, my husband and i say happy new year's to each other and then we go to bed.
