Hi I live in Australia and the new DSI is coming out on Thursday. It will retail at $299. I love my old one but I am tempted to buy a new one but not really sure if I should. I would like to find out if you can play games through the SD card or if you need to have extra support from a RD4 card?? Sounds good about playing music but wondering how loud would it sound and the camera sounds great as well....

I didn't know about the music part, but I've heard about the rest. That'd be cool to download older Game boy, Game boy Color and possibly Game Boy Advance games. I know I'll be getting one. I wonder how much it'll cost.

Hey everyone, Yes! The Nintendo DSi has already been released in Japan I think for around $199 (please correct me someone if I am wrong). It has two built in cameras, one on the outside of the Nintendo DSi, and the other one on the inside as you open it. It also sports two 3.25 inch screens comparing to 3 inch which was in the old ones. It also comes with an SD card slot so you might be able to essentially play games off an SD card slot if people figure out how to use homebrew on it. BUT the main downfall to this is that they totally eliminated the GBA game slot. Oh man, lets just hope that we will be able to play GBA games on the Nintendo DSi using the SD card slot and an emulator :D Hope this helps!
