What is the most useful powerup?

I like the P-Wing, you can cruise through almost any stage with this power-up.

I liked the Hammer Bros. suit in Super Mario Bros. 3 for the NES, it made going through levels soo much easier, but it didn't make it tooo easy, you could still get hurt and lose it or fall down a hole and die, I also liked the Raccoon suit, it was fun being able to fly and turn into a statue so the enemies just walked by you...
