I do not know whether any of you guys watched this movie before. I've watched it few weeks back, several times and I still could not fully understand the whole story. There are only 2 leading actors and 4 other sidekicks in the film. The whole story is moving around these 2 leading actors, Shane Carruth (as Aaron) and David Sullivan (as Abe). The film is produced at a fund of $7000 and it won 4 Awards: Grand Jury Prize, ALfred P.Sloan Prize, Best Writer/Director (Shane Carruth) and Best Feature. The film takes place in the industrial park and suburban tract-home fringes of an unnamed U.S. city. Four engineers -Aaron, Abe, Robert and Philip work for a large corporation during the day, and run a side business out of Aaron garage at night, building and selling error-checking devices for computer motherboards. Aaron and Abe accidentally created a time machine. At first they used the time machine to succeed stock market and later on they were getting more obsessed by the ability of the machine... (if you are interested to watch the movie, please let me know so that I can send you the link...watch it online) As the writer of the movie, Shane Carruth studied physics in order to make Abe and Aaron's technical dialogue sound authentic (this is the part where I could not make any sense of of their conversations). He also create the time machine operating theory which is not as comprehensive as "Back to the future"...
