If you have a preference, which would you like more having a boss of the same gender as you? Or someone of the opposite gender? And would it really have that much bearing for you and how you work?

as a female, i'd prefer a male. I'm stereotyping here. But they would be more easy on talk to and i guess more lenient and understanding. From past experiences, non-married female bosses are the worst to work under. They have no family life & therefore are mainly workaholics. Since they devote their time in their work, they expect exactly the same from you. Which is pure madness.

Well, I'm a woman, and I'd prefer a guy boss. I had a lady boss before, she's nice, but sometimes she's too moody. I have to admit, sometimes ladies tend to be too sensitive and emotional. Of course, lady boss may be more caring. I'm having a guy boss now, and he is really a nice guy.

I would prefer the opposite gender the male boss. For me its easy to get along since there is less pressure and things to think about. Like also there is no competition that would incur like physically sometimes the lady boss tends to be insecure when her employee is prettier, smarter, has lots of attention stuff like that.

Because I'm a girl I would prefer to have a female boss rather than a guy boss. I get nervous when it's a man because they tend to scare me more and aren't as nice. Where I work now I have both a female and a male boss. They're both nice, but the male boss seems to be more intimidating than the female. I don't think it would matter too much to me because you're not around your boss the whole time you're at work so you don't really have too much to worry about.

I don't have a preference. I have both as bosses and they seemed the same.
