We too open a few on Christmas Eve and save the special ones for Christmas morning. I read one of your responses on another discussion about Marines. Semper Fi this will be our first Christmas our son will not be able to be with his family im sure you know how that is. Take Care :)

We've always opened one present on Christmas eve. Well, my OWN family has. I just couldn't stand waiting until Christmas morning to see the looks on my kids' faces! So, we started that tradition and still do it. But... only one! The rest have to wait until Christmas morning. I could wait to open mine but I could never wait to see the looks on my boys' faces. My sister, when we were younger, would try her best to tease me and get me to WANT to find out what everything was inside those wrappings but it never worked. I've always been pretty patient with things like that. SHE was the one who was impatient! I'd tease her until she went crying to our mother. Well, she STARTED it!
