Is it a must for you to give gifts on Christmas?

Have you felt the economic crisis in your pocket? As Christmas is already around the corner, we all get panicky on buying things for friends, children and people we know we felt we need to give something. Do we really need to buy some stuff just to celebrate Christmas?

Yes, I do think you are right. I was just really accustomed to giving gifts that is why when the budget is low it sometimes a sad thing. But thanks to some of My Lotters, they have shared ideas on what to give without really spending that much.;-) Happy Holidays!

Yes, its true that Christmas is all about giving. As for me I am not really expecting anything from my husband and kids. As long as they appreciate the simple little things I do to them I'm happy with that. No material thing can replace the love and care our love ones show us. Thanks, Happy holidays!

It's not really necessary to buy gifts on Christmas but it has been a tradition of gift giving every Christmas time. It's just that this is our way to express how we treasure or how we thankful for the people around us. They may be our family, relatives, friends, neighbors or co-workers. Anyway it's also not necessary to buy expensive gifts to give, even personalized Christmas cards or homemade goodies will do. There's always a saying when giving gifts that it's not matter what kind of gifts you gave but it's that thought that counts.

Yes, it has become a tradition for me too. I already have a list on my family and friends that I want to give gifts to but sadly I found myself not able to affoed it anymore because I stopped working. Thanks for the suggestion it is very helpful.

it's really not necessary to buy something as gifts for Christmas. like what you have said we are experiencing economic crisis and whether we wanted to buy gifts budget is not just enough. so i think it would be better if you can think of something that you will not be needing enough money for a gift like if you have plants in your place you can place it in a nice pot and put some ribbon. or if you know how to bake cup cakes you can just decorate it and put it in a box, that would not cost much. there's a lot of ways to make the Christmas celebration so much fun not by gifts only. merry Christmas in advance.
