What 's the difference of alkaline water and purified or distilled water?

I am confused what is the difference of alkaline water to purified/distilled water? Every time I order water to drink, they ask me if I want alkaline water?they told me that this better than any drinking water. well, in fact, few years ago purified and distilled water is the best..so what is mineral water now????what do you think???

Distilled & purified water are devoid of minerals and are acidic. They steal the minerals from your body. Alkaline water is the other way around. It provides minerals to the body and helps balance your body's PH level.

Alkaline water is not better than other drinking water.It's a just promotion of bussiness.Body have its own mechanism to maintain the acid-base equilibrium.
