MyLot Raises Your Intelligence?

You know, before I came onto MyLot, I've just been feeling really out of it. Not able to carry a very good conversation. I feel so much smarter now though.
For instance, my girlfriend and I have way more to talk about because I saw a topic on MyLot that intrigued me enough to ask her opinion on it.
Do you feel like your actually smarter because of MyLot? What else besides raising your intelligence do you think MyLot helps out?

I don't feel it makes me smarter, but I also have topics to talk to with my girlfriend than before. Obviously, mylot helps finacialy, or it can. But I don't actually feel smarter.
