What type of meal do you cook for the Holidays

I cooked a big dinner for Thanksgiving and made three different types of desserts. I usually do the same for Christmas but this year I've been thinking about having a smaller meal for Christmas, maybe just cook a ham,rice cooked in ham juice,a veg.and one dessert. Do you or someone else that you know cook a lot for the Holiday?

Purely filipino dishes. In the province, we usually joined midnight meal with the rest of the family with simple foods we prepare. Usually it consists with Chicken Adobo, Fried fish, native delicacies and some sweets.

For all the days I will cook normally. In special situations like festivals, I will cook sweets, rare dishes and distribute it to all my friends and relatives.
