when you find new music do you listen to it repeatedly at first? it seems like when i find new music its all i really listen to for a little while then i start mixing it in with my other stuff...i just got a new CD and it's all i've been listening too today. it's really good.. Its one of those CD's that i get in the mood to listen to, that style of music (Justin Nozuka) but what about you? do you listen to just your new music? or do you listen to your music how you always do and just add the new stuff into it?

When I buy music, I generally listen to it constantly for the first day or so, and keep it in rotation with my shuffle list so it appears often. This way I actually get to listen to it and not look at my ipod three months later and wonder how such and such song got there lol

Yeah! Whenever I find a new song I listen to it all the time because it gives me a special mood I love! Of course, until I find a better one, or until I get bored of it. I love running while listening to my favourite songs, so after playing it several times in an hour, I get bored of course :) Except for Metro Station - Shake it - I just heard about it and it's stuck in my head! A new one I found yesterday was Dj Dejan - Be My Dream - it's amazing! But I never get bored of my favourite band's songs... :)

actually what I do is listen to it too many times, so then I put it away for some time and in like 4 or 5 months later I get the urge to listen to it again, and it's the way i've built my huge playlist. the problem today is not finding new music, it's finding quality music... just as an example, I have been searching for quality electro style music for years until I discovered Umek, or Infected Mushroom to fit my taste the best...

Mostly I just listen to the radio the I'm pretty much stuck with what they are playing. That usually means that I listen to the new music. Sometimes I find a station that's playing the older music that I like and then I listen to them.

When I download new music I do it in one big shot, sitting for an hour or two downloading. When I'm done I transfer it all into my itunes and for a few days play only the new stuff on random. I like to get acquainted with my new music before I dump it in with the rest of my music where I won't hear it again for a few weeks most likely (I'm a huge fan of the shuffle option and generally listen to my music that way). Every now and then I get caught up in a new album. A friend of mine let me upload her Owl City cd and I fell inlove. I still single it out every now and then to listen to it alone.
