Comcast Cable Internet Users- Recent Increase in Speed?

I noticed my videos & webpages are loading much faster these couple days, is this happening for everyone else? I think I just saw an AD on TV saying they've increased the speeds. Anywhoo, I'm real happy about it, when I first got the cable, my internet was pretty quick, & then it slowed down this past year.

I don't have comcast, but I wish I did! I have Charter and when I first got it, it was fast.. now it's slowed down a lot! I've heard it could mean that someone is close by stealing cable.. I dunno.

If you haven't secured your network- people will steal off you. You should be able to secure your network with a password, then no one can connect.
