Dravid has got a great potential. I always thought it was just a matter of 1 good innings before Dravid regains his last form and that is what exactly happened today in the first innings of the second test match against England and India in Mohali. I think he has almost recovered his form from where he left and I guess this could be the start point for Dravid again to show consistency with his batting. He is a great player and I think he could end his career in a good note.

Right now he is going through a very bad patch and I think it has elongated for a long time. I personally think this is the right time for him to take a leaf from the game and we think about his game. There is some problems in his technique. Maybe it is a very small problem which needs some tweaking and adjustment and then he can get back to his original state but it will need time and practice on the net is and if he is not doing that in all he is doing is failing for the main team which can be very costly. When he's playing in the team we expect a lot from him. He has a role to play and it cannot do that on a consistent basis than definitely it will create a lot of problem for the team. So I think it is better for him to take leave and want to the nets of stock. Find out the problem which he is facing and work on it and get back scoring runs as quickly as possible. As we know we has played a long time and there are youngsters waiting at the bench. So it is better that he starts performing otherwise he may be dropped and there are very few chances that he can be picked the game. Plus he's a very dependable player when it comes to test format of the game and we do not want such a valuable player to lose from the site which will affect hugely.

dravid is a technical guru no doubt on that but he is in his bad form in his career.there are few good player waiting to get indian team if he doesn't perform well in the coming match that would be the final match for him.i think so.selectors may give him one more chance that would be for his retirement.
