watching a movie on the big screen(theater) or watching it on dvd in the house?

me and my hubby prefer to watch a movie in the house since we can save money than going to the theater. Though a dvd will be out in the market after a month it will be released or played in the theater, but it doesnt matter. Theres nothing to lose if everybody had seen it already and we are just about to watch it. That would not delete any scene in the movie.It will still be the same movie that everybody had seen in the movie theater.

I prefer to have it on DVD so that I can not only rewatch it but I can also pause it to go to the bathroom, get a snack or anything else. I also don't have to deal with traveling to the theater, ppl talking during the movie or missing parts of the movie to go to the bathroom.

It depens, if you have a home theater there is no doubt about it. But the if you have just a television set, I think the emotion you feel in the theater is a lot greater and worth it. Just one little thing I dont like about theaters, you cannot stop the movie to go to the bathroom!!! Ja Ja Ja!!!
