As I know it, Christmas, December 25, is the day that has been fixed by the Roman Catholic Church as a celebration for the birth of Jesus Christ. It is a holy day. As far as I know, the exact date of the birth of Jesus Christ is unknown. This doesn't mtter to me. In a town called Bethlehem, 2008 years ago, the baby Jesus was born. Sheperds in outlying fields were told of it by heavenly beings called angels. Meanwhile, three wise men or Magi read about this event from the stars, and took the journey to pay homage, each bringing his own gift to the baby. They were led to his lowly birth site by a star that shone singularly bright. This is what I know of Christmas. Peace on earth, goodwill to men. Blessings, friend.

According to the history that I knew, 25 desember was the re-birth of the sun god for the Roman people too. How do you explain it? Quite by chance same or did there one that only copied?

I have read about that. I don't have to explain that. When I go to Church on December 25, it will be in adoration of my one and only God, and in full wonder that He chose to be born as man, live as man, suffer as man. I guess more or less, it is in the same way that I celebrate my birthday, regardless that another person elsewhere is celebrating his or her birthday on the same day, and regardless of whether other people elsewhere are celebrating some other event on that same day too. Happy mylotting, friend.
