Can A guy get away with breaking up with a girl and dating her sister?

Men do get a lot of leeway in all societies, but is it okay to break up with one girl and date her half-sister. The girls don't live together, in fact because their unfaithful father, they hate each other. The girls are totally different, one's blonde and into fashion, the other a shy girl into books. But IS IT OKAY? What do you call such a guy?

I think it depends on how long and to what extent he dated the first sister! - If it was a pretty long and intense relationship, then stay away from the sister! If it was a date or two, then I think it's okay.
There are so many single gals out there... the very best option would be to forget about both sisters and seek out an entirely new girl! ;)

Good answer, I love it. I actually got this scenario from a book I love to read: Ain't She sweet, about the blonde girl, name Sugar Beth. The only problem is: she is the one villified and his switching to her sister is welcomed by the entire town as an excellent choice. Men do get away with a lot, So I really wanted to hear your opinions regarding my opinion that he deserved some stigma.

If the sisters aren't close, then I don't really see any problem with it. It just when its going to hurt their relationship that I would see it as wrong. If they already hate each other, then that's fine to me unless he is just doing it to make the other sister jealous.
