affiliate marketing is really a tough work to do, just like you are having your own webstore if you are selling affiliate's products also. i started affiliate marketing in the year 2004 and made some sales and commissions. but it's not easy to do marketing specially if traffic is scarce. sometimes there are months that no sales at all. and i did quit actually and started over again 3 months ago. now i am taking it seriously, but not focusing my time on it just some spare time. you may put affiliate/product links or simply sell their product in your own website. you market their product/services via channels that you have or familiar with and most common are through blogs, newsletters, adwords, article writing, free product directories and so on. there are affiliate sites that doesn't require you pay a membership fee (and it should be that way) since you are helping them sell their products/services. i am member of few affiliate sites that are free to join and i am quite happy with them. should you wish to know, just visit my profile page... to succeed in affiliate marketing or any other money making activities online requires patience, hardwork and determination also. many are earning money online, but few are making nice profit from it... good luck!
