Anyone an old fan of Star Wars Galaxies?

There must be someone here that was addicted to Star Wars Galaxies.
I played it for nearly a year before the dreaded combat upgrade. Can you remember when they ruined the game? It was a bad for MMORPG fans everywhere.
Did you ever get to Jedi? I think I was a few months off then they changed the game so anybody could have Jedi. I was gutted after spending nearly a year to get that far.
Were you Rebel or Imp?

Yeah, I played for a month or so way back when it first came out (I actually have the collector's edition). My computer at the time was sadly lacking, but it was definitely one of my favorite games at the time, I was always playing.
I wanted to give it another shot recently, just to see how horrid it is now, but you can't buy discs for this game anywhere, and I'm not a fan of direct download games that aren't freebies.
