How to succeed in Ac?

Hi, I'm a Content producer at associated content. I have published 2 articles and they have got a total of 26 page views. Its been a week since then. I wonder if I can somehow get more pageviews. I've tried posting links here and there, but is there someway to get more attention from AC members? Some articles get many pageviews a single day. I know that is based on their popularity and the topic. I would really appreciate it if you give me some suggestions to increase pageviews per article. Is anyone out there successfull in any paid to write sites? Then tell me how you do it!
