If you had to go on a trek, what all would you pack?

I wanted to make a list of all the things which I would need if I were to go on a trek to the mountains. No rope climbing or no river crossing. Just a simple cross country trek through the hills for week and camping in the open. What all will one need? Can you help me in compiling the list? I want to be self contained on man pack basis without the help of a porter. I can carry upto 30 KG of weight in a rucksack. We are four of us in the group, two males and two females. The females can carry only about 15 KG of weight. Tell me what I should not miss out at all cost. The weather is pleasant, neither hot nor cold.
