Last January 1st, I was stuck at the airport in Vegas. That was only because it was snowing in the town that I was flying home to at the time. They were leery about letting the plane take off, because they didn't know if it was going to be able to land. It was only for a couple of hours, if that long. Then we got on our plane, and once we reached our destination, we flew around for awhile. Again they didn't think we were going to be able to land. I would have much rather they just tell me I couldn't fly back until the next day! The only reason I was flying back on the 1st was because the ticket was so cheap! LOL

I guess a few extra hours in the Air Prot in Vegas would be the next best thing! ( after all they still have slots there too!) Enjoy your holiday! Thanks for the reply!

I live here and it was really cool. It doesn't happen a lot so every body was in an uproar. They even canceled school.

They didn't get that much snow that you couldn't get out of town. I wasn't there for the snow, but I did see the flowers in the desert, that's a pretty rare occurrence too.
